Melbourne has a rich and fascinating maritime heritage and there is no better way to discover its history than the maritime museum. The centerpiece of this adventure is the "Polly Woodside", a fully restored cargo vessel from 1885 which rests in a century old wooden walled dry-dock used for servicing ships.
