Domestic Arrival & Departure
Travelling by Train

The main terminal for long-distance and intercity trains is Flinders Street Station. Depending on where
you are going, different operators operate different routes. Countrylink runs Melbourne-Sydney routes,
whilst The Overland runs the Melbourne-Adelaide route. Travelling to country regions within Victoria is
provided by VLine. Train travel is cheaper than airfares but the journey times are significantly longer.
Trains run to most cities regularly.
